HR & ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Reports to: Finance Manager & Deputy Finance Manager
Accountable To:Finance Manager & Deputy Finance Manager
Work in coordination with: Country Representative, Finance Manager, Deputy Finance Manager , Area Managers and Finance Officers
Job Description:
WeWorld-GVC (WW-GVC) is an independent Italian organization emerged from the union between GVC NGO (constituted in Bologna in 1971) and WeWorld (founded in Milan in 1999), with the aim of increasing.The impact of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid projects in 29 countries, including Italy.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Human Resource Management
1. Recruitment process
. Leads/coordinates the entire recruitment process, finalization of job descriptions, advertisement of vacancies, review short list of applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews alongside senior management, checking candidate references;
· Support the Operations & CD on the onboarding and orientation of newly employed staff, including briefing regarding conditions of service, duties and responsibilities, privileges and entitlements under WeWorld Rules and Policies;
2. Compensation and Benefits:
· Ensure that National Staff remuneration (salary, post adjustments, compensations, final settlements, etc,) and benefits (holidays, leaves, social coverage, health coverage, etc.) meet with the Salary scale, Internal Regulations and HR policies, etc.
3. Employee Records and Compliance;
· Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies): preparing, collecting and scanning supporting documents related to local staff (i.e. collection of timesheets, annual leave, sick leave and any other relevant issue, and reports and follow up the coordination between Ramallah Office and sub offices);
· Responsible for developing employment contracts/amendments according to local labor laws;
4. Performance Management:
· Participate to annual performance appraisals to assess employee performance and facilitate career development.
· Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary
5. Conflict Management and Resolution:
· Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts between employees to promote a harmonious work environment.
· Implement employee relations programs to address conflicts and enhance employee satisfaction.
6. Administrative Support
· Supervise day-to-day HR operations for local staff.
· Coordinate communication needs and permits/visas for staff.
· Act as a contact person with the lawyer and handle legal procedures.
· Develop and communicate welcome package for visitors and new international joiners
7.Coordination and Communication:
· Coordinate between Ramallah Office and sub-offices.
· Provide information to auditors during audits.

Requirments:
- A bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting or Business
- At least 6 years of experience in relevant fields;
- NGO experience and knowledge of donor requirements is an asset;
- Valid Driving license; ability to move throughout all WB;
- Flexibility, organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent English (oral and written)
