Title: Human Resources and Administration Coordinator
Location: Gaza
Report to: Logistics Officer
Contract duration:12 months
Deadline for application: Mar. 27, 2016.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The HR & Admin Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for overseeing human resources and conducting administrative activities in accordance with the highest standards of profession and ensuring adherence to Qatar Charity procedures and regulations.

JOB DESCREPTION

-Ensure policy compliance for maintaining consistency in HR and Admin Policies, Practices and Systems at the organizational level.
-Develop and follow up implementation of the annual hiring plans, including short-term, consultants, and core staffing requirements, in full coordination with related directors.
-Coordinate the staff recruitment process in coordination with related director; including, composing selection committee, development of job description, preparation of  job adverts, screening of applicants, organization of tests, participation in interviews and final selection.
-Organize orientation/trainings to update all staff on HR policy, code of conduct and procedures.
-Plan and participate in new staff inductions in full coordination with related supervisors.
-In collaboration with Logistics Officer analyze training needs, develop and follow up conductance of the annual training plans and process requests for training in accordance to annual plans.
-Make sure the necessary insurance coverage is in place for all employees, promote workplace safety among staff and provide advice and assistance on related issues.
-Ensure timely conductance of the annual performance reviews.
-Ensure that the compensations and benefit package is in line with local laws.
-Maintain updated record of all staff related information.
-Ensure the maintenance of work, leave, sick records and database and prepare reports as directed by direct supervisors.
-Responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office e.g. management of the supply of materials/services, office and vehicle maintenance.
-Maintain professional archiving system for admin departments.
-Day-to-day coordination of administrative activities, including Facilitation of special events, staff meetings and workshops as requested.
-Assure maintenance and proper use for office assets, provide security and safety conditions in the workplace and during the operations carried out by the office.
-Develop, maintain and report on property inventory and management, under direct supervision of Logistics officer and in coordination with the Finance Department as necessary and appropriate.
-Provide logistical facilitation for various office operations, especially in the fields of communication, transportation, bookings, storage, and licenses.
-Performing any other duties as may be assigned by direct supervisor.

ESSENTIAL WORK ACTIVITIES

Not limited to the followings; Coordinating and implementing Human resources, administration and logistics activities for Qatar Charity – Gaza strip.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor degree in Business Administration or any other related field, with strong post qualification experience (minimum 3 years in related field)
-Strong communication skills.
-Experience of a flexible approach to managing and prioritizing a high workload and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
-Demonstrated experience of working with team.
-Professional computer Skills, word, excel, and access.
-V. Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
-An understanding of and commitment to QC’s mission and values
