HR Coordinator - Employee Relations and Staff Care
The position:
The HR Coordinator –Staff Care is responsible for supporting individual and organizational resilience through healthy, productive working environment, ensure providing NRC staff with the adequate and relevant medical and psychosocial support, ensure proper monitoring of work-related stress among NRC staff.

Specific responsibilities:
- Serve as the focal point within NRC Palestine for the Staff Care Programme .
- Provide counselling, stress management, and critical incident interventions as necessary.
- Develop related policies and procedures as per NRC requirements and ensure to liaise with regional and global offices for updates and minimum standards and requirements; taking into consideration rolling out an assessment process to identify the areas of development and current needs.
- coordinate with potential external providers and special matter experts in the field of psychosocial support and stress management; and propose engagement and team building activities.
- Conduct continuous sessions with NRC staff providing a safe space for staff; and provide management with feedback highlighting areas needing improvement and constant support.
- Provide ongoing individual or group clinical support for field staff that provides staff with a confidential, safe and supportive environment.
- Responsible for establishing and training a staff care task force.
- Suggest and implement initiatives and processes that contribute to a high-performing department and organization.
- Provide technical support and capacity building related to Staff Care.
- Establish, train, and monitor NRC’s peer support network.
- Plan, design, and facilitate workshops, presentations, seminars, and trainings on stress management, staff wellbeing initiatives and wellness workshops for all NRC staff.
- Follow up on medical standards and procedures and ensure that NRC staff are well catered for.
- Support on specific Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives in NRC Palestine offices.
Professional Competencies:
These are skills, knowledge and experience that are important for effective performance.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience from working in the field of mental health and psychosocial support within an organization preferably in a humanitarian /recovery context.
- Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities including excellent presentation skills.
- Experience in group and individual counseling
- Experience in designing and facilitating mental health psychological support.
