Position Title: HR Manager

Grade/Level of Effort: Full-Time

Required Experience: 4 Years+

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 1-year renewable

Location: Gaza

Supervisor: Chief People Officer

Supervision: HR Officers/Assistants

GGateway Background

GGateway is a private IT outsourcing company and social enterprise with the mission to develop Gaza’s human capital potential, particularly disadvantaged youth. It is a women-led organization that maintains a high-level of female beneficiaries. GGateway is central to the Gazan software development ecosystem – training university graduates and providing skilled workers to technology companies. GGateway is currently scaling up towards becoming a regional outsourcing hub and wants to expand our outsourcing projects regionally and internationally. Therefore, GGateway is looking for a seasoned and skilled resource to fill the HR Manager position.

Job Purpose

The HR Manager is responsible of all HR matters across the enterprise from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action. The HR Manager duties involves managing activities such as job design, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management.

Reporting and Supervision

The HR Manager reports directly to CPO
The HR Manager supervises HR Officers/Assistants

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Lead policy and procedure setting, and development/updates of HR manuals
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Manage the recruitment and selection processes
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Nurture a positive working environment
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Maintain pay plan and benefits program
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor that fall into the scope of this position

Required Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Academic: University degree in Human Resources, Management, or any other related field
Professional Experience:

At least 4 years’ experience in HR-related roles
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

Language: Excellent English and Arabic

Personal Qualifications:

People oriented and results driven
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to assure quality delivery
Ability to produce timely, detailed outputs, exercising sound judgment/analysis.
Initiative, ambition, patience, perseverance, discipline, and self-directed learning Energetic, initiator and motivated person
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the enterprise
