Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a French based humanitarian international agency was founded in1992 to assist the poorest people through its emergency relief, rehabilitation, development & child welfare programs in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social needs exist regardless the race, religion or gender. Secours Islamique France is seeking qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancy:

House Repair for Disadvantaged Families Project Coordinator (Ref #: 2015/01/ HRDFPC)

To be responsible for the overall management of the HRDF Project in the Gaza Strip


Qualifications & Experiences:-
-A Bachelor Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration / Engineering or any other related field.
-Minimum 4 years of proven field experience in relevant field.
-Experience in project’s proposal & report writings; planning; implementation, evaluation & budgeting.
-Experience in developing links with NGOs; INGOs, government agencies & other stakeholders.
-Experience in and commitment to participatory management and maintaining a supportive, open environment to ensure the transferring of knowledge & development of all staff.

Skills & Competencies:-
-Good knowledge of the geographical context of the Gaza Strip.
-Commitment and sympathy to the plight of the poor and disadvantaged people.
-Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic, French is a plus.
-Broad knowledge & understanding of Islamic principles as they apply to relief & development issues.
-Excellent technical, interpersonal and administrative skills
-Energetic and able to work under stressful conditions meeting strict deadlines.
-Excellent communication , networking & negotiation skills
-Respect for confidentiality
-Computer skills particularly in MS Office applications.
-Ability to move between West Bank & Gaza Strip.
