Purpose of the Job:

As an HR Leader, you will take the ownership of acrff Palestine vision to be the best for Training & Development and the Great Place to Work.

Your specific remit in this capacity will be to drive a strategic agenda encompassing ‘Attraction’ ‘Development’ ‘Reward’ ‘Engagement’ and ‘Partnership’.

You will be the subject matter expert on all HR related systems, tools and processes and through your authentic, high impact coaching and influencing skills be able to deliver strong results across key people performance metrics.

Job Function:

Strategy (30%) 

·         Ownership of Total Reward compensation and benefits strategy that informs, retains and engages talent at all levels of the business in partnership with GM, HRBP, Finance and Operations

Attract (20%)

·         Ownership over recruitment strategy for restaurant and above restaurant level in partnership with PCC and Operations, based on the needs of the growing business in Palestine

·         Defining scope of responsibilities for above restaurant leaders in cooperation with GM

·         Driving the internal talent pipeline for the stores that puts the right people in the right place and builds our bench strength

·         Responsible for Employer Brand (in partnership with marketing and HR team from CEE ) & Employee Value Proposition (in partnership with GM, operations, marketing and HR CEE) & its internal and external communication

Develop (20%)

·         In cooperation with PCC, Operations and CEE – ownership over content of LAS and LAR – classroom training

·         Analyzing and identifying development needs for Above Restaurant Leaders

·         Driving ARL capability through effective coaching and leadership development support

·         Support soft skills and leadership development curriculum for RGMs in partnership with HRBP (culture, feedback, recognition) by ensuring all ARL have elements of culture in their success routines

·         Responsible for preparation and launch of People Planning Review for ARL in cooperation with HR CEE and GM and People Capability Cycle for the restaurant level in partnership with operations and HRBP

Engage (20%)

·         Championing the bringing to life of our ‘How We Win Together’ culture by including HWWT principles in success routines, People Capability Cycle and job reviews, and adjusting recruitment process to reflect it

·         Establish and/or implement effective engagement plans in partnership with HRBP and Operations to ensure awareness, utilization and long term embedding of key strategic HR initiatives

Other (10%)

·         Managing the People Plan Review process for the region

·         Minimize Employee Relations issues

·         Reporting HR KPIs to HR CEE

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Strong commercial skills & business acumen, excellent literacy, numeracy skills.
  • At least intermediate level of English is necessary.
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of workplace achievement in the selection, coachingg and development of employees.
  • Strong coaching skills that can achieve results through the team in a collaborative fashion.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Proven analytical ability.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Team player but able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of performance metrics, products specifications and management systems.
  • High personal standards.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and time management.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating system to include Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Will need to become highly knowledgeable of brand operations.
  • Degree level education preferable.
