Job Title: Human Resources and Administration Manager
Duty Station: Musallam Eye, Ear & Specialized Surgery Hospital, Ramallah, Palestine
Starting Date : July 1st 1010
Duration of Contract: 12 months renewable (with a 3-month probation period)
Musallam Eye, Ear & Specialized Surgery Hospital in Ramallah is one of the most modern subspecialized 45 beds private hospitals in Palestine, It would provide a comprehensive eye, ENT, maxillofacial, plastic and laparoscopic surgery to the entire regions in Palestine and would rank among the finest in the Arab world. Construction of the new building of the hospital is almost finished. On the 1st stage (August 2010) the Eye & ENT departments will start their activities. For other departments, Few months are needed for their commencement.
The Human Resources and Administration Manager of the hospital will serve as an integral player
in the development of a high performance culture required to ensure that the Hospital meet its objectives and achieve its vision and mission. He/She will manage human resources services and function, policies and procedures, personnel recruitment, compensation and benefit packages. Monitor and ensure the smooth running of the overall administration and procurement department from directing, organizing, and arranging administrative, logistical, information technology, and support functions for the hospital.
His/her scope of responsibilities will cover management of clinical, professional, clerical and administrative staff as well as management of premises, catering, cleaning, and security. The HR and Admin Manager is expected to build and sustain strong working partnerships with the CEO, medical director, matron, finance manager and medical staff of the hospital through open and frequent communication and coordination.

The Human Resources and Admin Manager is expected to promote a culture of continuous quality
improvement and the elevation of service standards specifically matters involving quality of medical
care, patient care satisfaction, finances and human resources.
EDUCATION REQUIRED/PREFERRED:
A Bachelor / Masters degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or Human Resources Management.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED:
-Minimum 5 years experience in hospital and other healthcare administration
-Deep experience in health care demonstrating increasing responsibility and successful results in financial, clinical quality and operations
-Familiarity with Palestinian labor law
-Strong English and Arabic spoken and written communication skills; and ability to generate
reports and other written documents
-computer skills and a valid driving license
