Human Resources Expert

Established in 2006 as an independent non-profit nongovernmental organization, the NGO Development Center (NDC) provides financial and technical support to NGOs through its various programs and grant-making schemes.

NDC is seeking the services of Human Resources Expert (Consultant) to provide Four (4) Jerusalem-based partner NGOs with customized Human Resource Manuals and training aiming at strengthening their skills in human resources management.

Scope of Work:

The Consultant is required to accomplish the following:

1- Carry out individual meetings with key NDC staff.

2- Review available related AJIR Programme documents, NDC and NGOs requirements, NGOs relevant manuals, and the NGOs Resource Kit’s Human Resources Manual.

3- Review applicable laws (NGOs law and labor law) to Palestinian NGOs in East Jerusalem.

4- In coordination with NGOs and NDC, prepare work plan and proposed methodology.

5- Submit the customized human resource manuals for NGOs and NDC review and approval.

6- Conduct a one-day training workshop for the four NGOs.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications of the Consultant

Advanced degree in human resources, management.
At least five years’ experience working with the NGO sector.
Strong knowledge of applicable NGOs law(s) and labor law(s) applicable to NGOs in East Jerusalem.
Relevant practical experience in human resources management and training.
Relevant experience in carrying out of similar assignments within this sector.
Access to Jerusalem.
