Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Location: Ramallah Office
Duration: Regular Term

Save the Children, as a non-profit U.S based development organization, has been working in the West Bank and Gaza since 1973. Save the Children (SC) concentrates on enhancing health, educational, psychosocial, food security, and economic opportunities in order to achieve its mission to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children.
The Human Resources is responsible of managing the human resources services and functions, policies and procedures, and managing the personnel recruitment, compensation and benefit packages. Leading and synchronizing planning, monitoring, and ensure proper evaluation efforts regarding staff performance and welfare within the organization, and to administers all benefitsprograms, process all benefits enrollments, changes and terminations. Ensure all personnel issues are done from employment, staff entitlements, leave tracking, orientation, probation, resignation, release letters, bond letters, termination, staff exit process , staff work certificates, recommendations, and any other personnel related paper work.
Personnel Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience in Business Administration , Social Science, Community Development or related subjects
• At least 2 years of experience in general HR principles, practices, operations, and administration
• Familiarity with HR research/survey practices and development.
• knowledge of salary and benefit structures,
• Skill in examining and developing personnel, operations and procedures manuals, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Israeli and Palestinian Labor laws and regulations.
• Skill in developing and conducting employee orientation sessions.
• Knowledge of contemporary principles of human resource management and NGO personnel practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Excellent verbal, and written communications & reporting skills.
• Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources and administration applications.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex human resources and Admin issues.
• Strong English and Arabic spoken and written communication skills
• A valid driving license
• Ability to travel in the West Bank and Gaza, Jerusalem , and internationally
