Job Description:
Explore and priorities strategic ‘People’ and Human Resource direction for Good Beginnings.
Ensure the maintenance of employment operations including recruitment, job descriptions, remuneration, selection processes, induction processes and exit interviews.
Provides proactive support, information, advice, leadership support and guidance to staff and external partners/providers.
Manage payroll processes to ensure that employees are paid correctly according to their contractual entitlements and manage salary sacrifice arrangements.
Ensure that Good Beginnings industrial relations policies and procedures are monitored and maintained.
Monitor scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and coordinate actions to ensure the staff absence has been adequately covered off to ensure continuity of services.
Inform affected staff or residents of unexpected absences from work and coordinate actions ensuring the continuity of services such as cancellation of events and locating keys.
Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or related discipline or working towards the same.
Experience within a human resources environment (1 years minimum).
Evidence of contribution to the development and implementation of best practice generalist HR policies and procedures.
Demonstrated commitment to Workplace Health & Safety including development and training.
Working knowledge of Company’s Relations system and employment law.
Good understanding of Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management regulations.
