World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision Jerusalem West Bank Gaza is in the process of implementing the “Child participation project”. The project aims to empower children to become agents of change in their families and societies. This is through building their life skills and institutionalizing their participation and involvement in the community life.

The successful candidate will:
Develop concept papers and prepare proposals to major donors.
Prepare monthly, annual and end-of-project narrative report
Ensure that business plan aligns with Regional HEA Strategy.
Collaborate with Operations in creating emergency strategies in each area.
Coordinate HEA communications with Support Offices and the Regional Office.
Develop HEA network database.

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree in social science or a relevant field
At least 3 years of broad and deep experience in providing technical expertise in HEA.
Able to provide training to staff on HEA & Emergency Planning.
Strong commitment to build and work in a team environment and proven quality on this
Ability to operate effectively and sensitively in the culture and present context of the country
Some level of travel is expected, sometimes even to a highly sensitive areas.
Very good oral and written skills (English & Arabic)
Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
Valid driving license.
Commitment to achieving quality results and service
Practicing gender and cultural diversity.

Good knowledge on computer skills e.g. Microsoft word, excel, power point, email and internet.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
