In the West Bank and Gaza, IREX brings an innovative youth development approach that will lead the development and implementation of the USAID-funded Partnerships with Youth program in the West Bank.

IREX is recruiting for the following positions for the Partnerships with Youth (PwY) Program based in Ramallah, West Bank.

ICT Specialist

Responsibilities include: Support the Media and ICT Manager in developing and implementing ICT related work plans, including partnership plans with multinational IT companies, with local ICT and youth focused companies and organizations and with Palestinian universities where applicable; lead the design and implementation of youth focused ICT programs; provide technical support, coaching and mentoring to ICT Coordinators at the YDRCs (11 YDRCs), to youth centers in rural communities  and to local NGO partners where applicable; in close collaboration with the Media and ICT Manager, and with ICT Coordinators develop the ICT internship program and ICT training schedules; provide technical support to the expansion of the Virtual Private Network and related youth content, as well as to the youth portal; and any other assigned duties.      

Qualifications and Attitudes:
-At least three years of relevant work experience in ICT, youth development and training.
-Demonstrated technical ICT and youth development related skills.
-Experience designing and implementing training for youth and/or adults strongly preferred.
-At least BA degree in ICT, IT or relevant field.
-Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work under minimum supervision.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with team members.
-Strong ability in Arabic and English.
