About BBI

An innovative, open hub to incubate, mentor, and support local start-ups, entrepreneurs, students and faculty, particularly women and youth who are interested in the non-ICT sector.

BBI is currently seeking a qualified candidates to fill the position of Incubator Manager .

The Incubator Manager will be responsible for leading the incubator operations. This would be inclusive of the following:

-The overall planning the activities, resources, budgets and operations of the Incubator.
-Pre-incubation: Assist Country Director in deal flow generation working with entrepreneurs for their proposals and need assessment before they join the BBI incubator.
-Incubation: Follow up with incubated startups on their milestones and deliverables
Monitoring and advising start-ups in relation to issues such as business model development, client identifications, market entry; help the incubates coordinate with mentors based on each startup need, provide advice and coaching to accelerated startups.
-Monitors and tracks clients’ progress with one-on-one meetings regarding capital acquisition plans, strategic planning, market research, sales and marketing strategies, operations and general management. Lead weekly meetings with hosted startups.
-Events and workshops: Plan various workshops/events/webinars for the Incubator, and execute the same with the help of team members.
-Mentor Network: Assist Country Director in developing the mentor network for the Incubator and work with them to make the Incubated venture successful.
-Funding for Incubate Projects: Work in coordination with Country Director for setting up and seed funding sources including grants, partnerships, sponsors, and donors.
-Administration of the Incubator and any other activities which requires the manager’s involvement.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of managing and directing Incubator programs and/or start-up businesses .
