Position: Information Management Assistant
Location:Ramallah
Starting date: Immediately
Contract period: 8 months

BACKGROUND:
ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is an international NGO registered
in France. ACTED’s vocation is to support vulnerable populations affected by wars, natural disasters
and/or economic and social crises, and to accompany them in building a better future. ACTED is
currently implementing in the West Bank humanitarian projects funded by the European Unionand the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs that aim to protect vulnerable communities, as well as development projects funded by the European Union and the French Development Agency that seek to strengthen rural cooperatives.
GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES
Under the supervision of the Emergency Project Manager, the Information Management Assistant
will be responsible for a project database (Microsoft Access), data entry, and preparation of regular
graphical reports.
KEY TASKS:
-Continuous entry of project data into a Microsoft Access and Excel databases
-Prepare graphicalreportson a weekly and monthly basis
-Collect, process and file raw data from the Programme department
-Provide accurate and timelyreports to the Reporting department andthe Appraisal, Monitoring & Evaluation department
-Comply fully with ACTED standards and principles
REQUIREMENTS:
-Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Business
-Outstanding IT skills, including expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Google Docs
-Interest in data visualization and graphic design are a plus
-Previous work experience with an NGO in a similar position will be positively evaluated
-Professional attitude, good social skills, and ability to work in a team
-Reliable, open-minded,a positive attitude, and excellent in time management
-Ability to produce accurate reports under pressure
-Willingness to improve skills and knowledge
-Capable in planning and problem solving
-Excellent communication and drafting skills
-Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written, including correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
