A brief introduction to Elastic Advisors Company

*Get a three-month internship with Elastic Advisors Company, which includes a guaranteed job offer. Two interns will experience two different positions to kick-start their business careers. Check the conditions and responsibilities.

Internship (A): Business Development Internship.

1) The job description for a Business Development Officer includes the following responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the CEO on the assessment and analysis of all new initiatives and projects.
  • Collect and analyze market research, including customer research and competitive analysis; research marketing opportunities and plans; understand client requirements; and identify market trends.
  • Maintain and further develop key customer relationships.
  • Identify and manage short-term business development consultants in different markets.
  • Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify new business opportunities, assess their market potential, and review issues and risks to recommend further business development strategies and tactics.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation, face-to-face presentations, and ad hoc administration tasks as required.
  • Leads and creates responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other potential government and private-sector new client requests.
  • Analyze request for proposal (RFP) requirements for the development of clear and focused proposal templates

*Intern, What you, as an intern, will be learning:

  • Strategic Collaboration:

    • Evaluate new projects and initiatives in collaboration with the CEO.
    • Participate in strategic decision-making processes for the company's growth and development.
    • Gain insights into aligning business goals with overall strategic objectives.
  • Market Analysis:

    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities.
    • Develop skills in conducting comprehensive market research and presenting findings.
    • Learn how to use data-driven insights to inform business strategies.
  • Customer relationship building:

    • Cultivate skills for establishing and nurturing meaningful customer relationships.
    • Understand the importance of customer feedback and incorporate it into business development strategies.
    • Learn to identify and address customer needs to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development Strategies:

    • Recognize and assess business opportunities in diverse markets.
    • Oversee consultants and teams working on business development projects.
    • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's reach.
  • Networking Skills:

    • Build relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
    • Enhance networking skills through participation in industry events and conferences.
    • Develop negotiation skills for successful business collaborations.
  • Project Management:

    • Acquire project management skills for efficient planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives.
    • Learn to document project progress, milestones, and outcomes effectively.
    • Understand the importance of time management and resource allocation in project execution.
  • Bid and Proposal Management:

    • Take charge of bid quality, ensuring accurate and compelling documentation.
    • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
    • Develop skills for crafting persuasive proposals that showcase the company's strengths.

Internship (B): Administrative Assistant

2) The job description for an administrative assistant includes the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure the systematic organization and tidiness of the office space.
  • Prepare and submit a comprehensive weekly inventory checklist of essential office supplies, such as stationery, utilities (electricity and water), and kitchen provisions, to the direct manager for approval.
  • Provide detailed weekly progress reports on assigned tasks, diligently following up on directives from the direct manager, BDO, and company chairman.
  • Oversee communication channels, including the timely delivery of official bank documents, coordination with consultants, and facilitating correspondence with the company board.
  • Efficiently manage scheduling responsibilities using Outlook's agenda and calendar functions.
  • Execute daily assignments as delegated by the direct manager with precision and attention to detail.
  • Record accurate and comprehensive minutes during meetings to ensure thorough documentation.
  • Diligently track and respond to emails on time.
  • Employ Google and other relevant resources to gather the required data efficiently.
  • Utilize LinkedIn to cultivate professional relationships, contributing to the development of the company's official account and page.
  • Stay informed about available grants and tenders, promptly forwarding pertinent information to the business development team for consideration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data management and organization using Microsoft Excel.
  • Facilitate phone calls, schedule appointments, and initiate meetings with a high level of professionalism.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an effective filing system and the organization of data files.

*Intern, What you, as an intern, will be learning:

  • Develop skills in creating and submitting weekly checklists of office supplies to the direct manager.
  • Acquire proficiency in implementing and maintaining effective office etiquette.
  • Acquire knowledge of reporting on and following up on assigned tasks from the direct manager, BDO, and company chairman.
  • Gain experience in managing communications, including learning about official bank documents and simple accounting practices.
  • Learn to schedule appointments efficiently using Outlook's agenda and calendar.
  • Develop proficiency in completing daily tasks assigned by the direct manager.
  • Learn the art of recording accurate meeting minutes.
  • Enhance your skills at promptly following up on emails.
  • Gain expertise in utilizing Google and other resources to collect the necessary data.
  • Learn to use LinkedIn and gather data for the company's LinkedIn account and page.
  • Develop proficiency in using Excel for efficient data management and organization.
  • The skill of making effective phone calls, scheduling appointments, and initiating meetings.
  • Learn to assist in organizing data file systems systematically.
  • Gain an understanding of staying updated on grants and tenders and forwarding relevant information to the business development team.
  • Develop skills in posting information on websites and creating content as required.
  • Learn how to: build a professional assertive personality, whether in writing emails, meeting new people, or initiating a business relationship.

  • Good experience in MS Word, Excel, and social media.
