About Freightos

Freightos is already helping some of the world’s biggest freight companies automate their operations. We’re looking for Trainees to join our Summer internship program in Ramallah.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Title of Position: Software Developer Engineer

Will be trained on the following Practices:
-Writing new software, engaging modifications to existing software, or integrates software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications provided by others.
-Creating and executing unit testing and integration testing ensuring module meets requirements.
-Creating and maintaining all required technical documentation / manual related to assigned components to ensure supportability.
-Participates in internal team meetings and status meetings.

Eligible Candidates:
Studying Computer system Engineering // Computer Science
-Expected to graduate by the end of this semester May 2015

-Seniors expected to graduate after one year May 2016.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Previously passed the following subjects (Data structure, Algorithms, design or an equivalent subject, Java, Software methodologies in engineering and analysis,)
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Object-oriented programming and design knowledge.
-English language ability: Very good (speaking, reading, writing )

Preferred Qualifications:

Took courses in the following subjects (Statistics, Search methods, Scripting languages)

- Start Date of Program: June, 1st , 2015.
-Internship Duration: 3 months

-Working Hours: Full-time // 9 hours including 1 hour break
-Location: Ramallah
