The Business Women Forum (BWF) is a national non-profit organization established in 2006 to promote and empower businesswomen and entrepreneurs as leaders in the Palestinian economy. BWF provides comprehensive business development packages, including capacity building, coaching, consultancy, technical support, and networking opportunities with local, regional, and global institutions.
As part of the Raedat-Pioneers Activity, funded by USAID, BWF seeks to hire interns to develop a robust database profile using a new software program. This database will encompass all the women benefiting from BWF's services across various sectors, including training, grants, conferences, and more. The goal is to enable BWF to effectively track the development and empowerment of women, providing essential support for business growth and sustainability. The anticipated commencement date for this position is July 15, 2024.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in an intensive 4-hour orientation session on BWF's mission and the specifics of their assignments.
- Conduct data entry and clean Excel files containing information on women beneficiaries from the past five years.
- Enter historical data from Excel sheets into the new software program.
- Conduct daily calls with women beneficiaries to update their profiles in the software.
- Complete updates for approximately 2,000 women profiles (around 667 profiles per intern during the internship period)
- Ensure all collected data is accurately entered into the new software system.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday
Salary: $600 Monthly
Degree: Bachelor's degree

Job Requirements
- Educational Background: Hold a BA degree in social sciences, computer science, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in data entry within a software program.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with women across various social contexts in Palestine.
- Teamwork and Supervision: Can work well within a team and under supervision.
- Residency: Must reside in Ramallah or nearby villages.
- Comprehensive CV: CVs should reflect experience in data entry, including the names of firms or organizations previously worked with.
- Technical Proficiency: Highlight any additional technical skills or software proficiencies that could benefit the project.
