Title: Long Term Arrangement for Interpretation Services.

Purpose: Selection of individual Interpreters

Reports to: Communication Specialist- UNICEF State of Palestine

Duration: 12 months

Location: Gaza

This LTA requires professionals in their respective fields whose experience and quality of work demonstrably meet the highest international standards. They must have an excellent track record along with experience working in the social development sector as well as the following:

Minimum five years of professional experience in English into Arabic interpretation and vice-versa;
Demonstrated experience in professional interpretation assignments;
Knowledge of UNICEF terminologies will be considered an advantage;
Experience working with international development organizations is desirable;
Demonstrate effective organizational skills and ability to handle work efficiently and on time;
Previous experience with UNICEF would be an asset;
Experience in working on children’s issues and families is an asset;
