International Relief and Development (IRD) is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization, operating in the West Bank and Gaza since December 2007. IRD’s mission is to reduce the suffering of the world’s most vulnerable groups and provide tools and resources needed to increase their self-sufficiency.

IRD is currently recruiting technical, operational and administrative staff for an expected Three-year USAID-funded humanitarian and recovery program in the West Bank and Gaza, which will administer large sub-grants that will support complex programs mainly in Gaza, with the goal of improving food security; secure housing options, and household level economic recovery. Positions will be based in Ramallah, Gaza or other.

The positions are in the following areas: Infrastructure Development/Engineering, Food Security and Agriculture, Economic Growth, Gender, Health, Grants Management, Logistics Coordination, and Monitoring and Evaluation.


Required qualifications:

Candidates should have:
-A proven record of designing, implementing and delivering successful technical assistance to development and humanitarian relief programs in the West Bank and Gaza. 
-Post graduate degree/Masters degrees in Engineering, Agriculture, Education, Economics, Health, International Humanitarian Assistance, etc
-At least 5 years of experience for Mid-Level positions, and 10 years of experience for Senior-Level positions
-Fluency in both English & Arabic
