Islamic Relief Worldwide is a humanitarian NGO (www.irpal.ps) operating in Palestine in
the fields of emergency relief and long-term development. Islamic Relief announces the
following vacancies in its office in Gaza.
1- Title: Child Welfare Programme Worker (3 posts).
Ref: 2009/04/CWPW
Location: Gaza Office
Duration: one year- renewable (full time)

To be responsible for all field activities related to social works, and implementation of all One-to-One Sponsorship office for orphans in a professional and efficient manner, reporting directly to the Orphans Programme Coordinator.
Candidates must posses the following competencies:
1. A university degree in English Language, Social Work.
2. Minimum of two years related experience in working for an international NGO.
3. Experience of designing, keeping and working with accurate computerized data and manual records and books is essential.
5. Excellent written and spoken English (essential) as well as Arabic language.
6. High skills in translation from Arabic to English and vise versa
7. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop and Internet.
Note: a written exam will be held before interview in translation.
2- Title: Accountant.

Location: Gaza Office
Duration: one year (full time)

To be responsible for the provision of a wide range of audit and accounting requirements, in a professional and efficient manner, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting Unit.
Candidates must posses the following competencies:
1. A university degree in accountancy/commerce.
2. Minimum of three years experience in working for an international NGO.
3. Experience of designing, keeping and working with accurate computerized data and manual records and books is essential.
4. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.
5. Fluency in English (written and spoken)
