Islamic Relief Palestine established a center for psychosocial counseling in Gaza City. The centre
aims to create healthy atmosphere for children, through psychological support, educational support
and other recreational activities. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies in Gaza City.



Title: Psychologist
Ref: P-CW-27-2010
Duration: One year (Full Time)
Main Duties: Provide individual and group counseling and other activities of the team work, Participate in awareness and training, Keeping accurate client records, files and documentation for the release of information to other treatment professionals. Develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on clients’ interests, abilities, and needs.

Candidates must posses the following competencies:
-University Degree in psychology or mental health, postgraduate degree is an advantage.
-At least two years of mental health and psychosocial care experience.
-Knowledge and skills in assessment and mental health evaluations on clients as required.
General Skills required for all applicants :
-Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
-Interpersonal skills and good communication skills. Good computer Skills.
-English language skills.
