SMODEX is a Palestinian/American startup is looking for an excellent highly motivated candidate to fulfill the following position with below qualifications

IT Project Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIE

Use the agreed project methodology and documentation for all projects, to deliver to determined standard and quality. This will include ensuring adherence by the project team to procedural and document standards
Supervise the project team to successfully deliver project tasks on time, quality and budget
Liaise, support and co-operate with management to deliver agreed project activity through Data Center team resources
Gather and document project requirements for use either internally or by an external supplier
Deliver the specification of functional requirements for prioritized technical project activity and gain business sign-off
Facilitate project status/steering meetings and communicate with senior leadership and project stakeholders
Assist in the production of estimates of effort for new projects, liaising with management and planning team members
Negotiate appropriate resources from relevant business units and within the department to successfully deliver project objectives
Coordinate, respond, and effect where agreed, request for changes from original requirements or specifications
Escalate, communicate and take prompt remedial actions when there is slippage against the plan of project activity
Report and communicate project progress regularly to relevant personnel and provide management reports when necessary
Confirm support personnel is fully aware of required training to enable the systems to be moved into the Live environment
Identify and record ongoing issues and risks and take appropriate actions to deliver mitigating results
Manage and monitor project budgets if appropriate and liaise with the business units and IT Teams, reporting to budget sponsors when necessary
Confirm with appropriate technical resource and Information Security Officer that all projects meet industry standard security policies and requirements
Attend project related team and departmental meeting
Help the department make incremental improvements in the quality of the service it offers and to enhance the professional functioning of the department
Coordinate monthly board reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management required
Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills required
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts
Excellent time management and organizational skills with an appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach
Ability to work regularly scheduled hours Monday through Friday. Saturday support may be required on occasion
