Internship Opportunity
Chemonics International Ltd., a leader in global development, seeks IT Supervision Interns for its USAID-funded Enhanced Palestinian Justice Program (EPJP) to work for Family Courts in different West Bank Districts.
Position Objectives, Basic Functions/Critical Tasks:
- Travel to West Bank family courts on regular basis to supervise the implementation of ADALA there. Supervision activities include, but not
limited to:
- Startup mentoring and supervision of the utilization of the ADALA system in new courts.
- Monitor and supervise implementation of ADALA in courts that are currently using the system.
- Report any system-related problems to EPJP IT including equipment malfunctions, user resistance, software problems and so forth.
- Participate in training and mentoring of family court staff on the use of the ADALA system.
- Participate in preparing equipment, networks and software applications pertaining to the installation of the ADALA system in all targeted SJD courts.
Required Qualifications Skills
- A university degree in IT-related field including IT, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.
- IT support skills including PC hardware and operating systems and network installations and cabling.
- Software applications installation and support skills particularly web-based applications.
- Can work under pressure and within pre-set deadlines.
- Good at dealing with software users and can listen well to their needs and comments.
- Good report writing skills in English and Arabic.
