IT Systems Manager Vacancy, Gaza Gateway

This advertisement seeks qualified applications for an IT Systems Manager, who will be responsible for the IT environment, policy and operations of the Gaza Gateway.  The right candidate will also bring their experience to the Gaza Gateway’s client projects.
The Gaza Gateway is a social enterprise to attract outsourcing employment to Gaza.  Based on four internal projects as a pilot activity within UNRWA, the Gaza Gateway will be launching in the private sector by the end of 2015.  Therefore, this contract will begin as a Special Services Agreement (SSA, or OD29) with UNRWA, and will be transferred to an employment contract with the Gaza Gateway at the time of the launch.
The IT Systems Manager will begin by designing the IT environment, policy, and procurement and client data security requirements of the Gaza Gateway.  The environment will be built during the autumn, 2015, so that the Gaza Gateway can move smoothly into its new offices by the end of the year.
As outlined in the attached Terms of Reference (TOR), this position requires knowledge and experience of hardware, software, data and system security, user support, networks, operation systems with professional experience in several of these areas.  Private and public sector experience will be considered equally useful.
