Job Controller
Abu Khader Automotive, a leading company in the automotive industry and official importer of well-known international brands, is currently seeking to hire a Job Controller:
Main Responsibilities:
-Extensive liaison with service department to ensure smooth running of all jobs carried out to thedealerships standard.
-Responsible for the complete and proper execution of repair orders by the technicians in accordance with the dealer guidelines and standards
-Ensure perfect quality through the use of proper utilization of workshop equipment and facilities.
-Check that correct job numbers are entered according to the latest system
-Keep accurate records for the Workshop times by making sure of proper clocking in and out by technicians for each repair job.
-Allocate work according to booking status as per standards. Booked customers should enjoy priority.
-Update the system when additional work is found and approved.
-Use the system to update vehicle status on an ongoing basis.
-Monitor and chase cars through the workshop on an hourly basis and communicate feedback to service advisors.
-Pressurize technicians to complete required tasks within the time allocated in the latest system.
-Ensure repair orders completeness of data and required signatures according to standard policy
-Keep all consumables secure and monitor closely the usage thereof
-Convey additional work to Sales Advisor’s and seek approval from them.
-Arrange all “outwork”
-Check the punctuality of all work ordered from outside suppliers and informs the SM or WM of consistent lack of punctuality.
-Organize order management according to technician qualifications
-Coordinate time scheduling with Sales Advisor’s and note possible delays and additional work.
-Verify costing correctness with regular spot checks
-Convey additional work to Sales Advisor’s and seek approval from them.
-Ensure proper handling and cleanliness of repair orders
-To maintain dealership and RSM standards at all times
-Coordinate the wash bay and ensure that pre-washing is employed effectively
-Report to the Quality Assurance Specialist about all problems encountered or observed.
-Prepare reports when required using system loading.
-Coordinate the workshop road test (Quality testes) and prioritize their work based on delivery andcustomers’ requirements.
Skills and experience:
-A minimum of B.A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
-Work Optimization and Continuous Improvement Techniques
-Vehicle Faults and servicing requirements
-Usage of Hand tools and Equipment’s
-Automotive Market Know-How
-Excellent command of English & Arabic; both writing and speaking.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Leadership charisma
