Junior Accountant

Universe Telecom LLC, is a leading private telco-technologies provider and aggregator, located in Ramallah. We are looking for a junior accountant according to the following requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze and record all financial transactions (payments, journals and receipts) on Bissan systems and verifies supporting documents according to company’s polices / procedures and local rules and regulations.
Prepare payments (checks and transfers).
Follow up on petty cash and insure it is managed by the custodian according to company’s polices and procedures.
Archive all accounting vouchers according to company’s policies.
Assisting with the maintenance of accounting records and files, ensuring program administrative financial documents have appropriate supporting material; updating records as necessary; and keeping all financial and sensitive information confidential.
Prepare daily/monthly/ yearly reporting package according to the direct supervisor request.
Any other duties as assigned by Financial Director.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Fresh graduate with minimum very good GPA
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially with Excel.
Experience in using "Bisan” accounting system is a major plus.
Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure under pressure, prioritize work, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to improve skills and knowledge.
