Junior Developer

Top tier insurance company in Palestine seeking highly motivated, intuitive and results oriented a Junior Developer to develop numerous programs and applications and to assist in the creation of Enterprise Resource Planning software for insurance operations, management and accounting using C# .NET, SQL Database. The Junior Developer will play a central role in the company’s restructuring team and will report directly to the Head of Corporate Development.

Your responsibilities:
Not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel;
-Design, develop and maintain business applications on PC and mobile phones that improve efficiency by automating routine tasks and centralizing data for improved reporting
-Develop applications based on the software development life cycle / agile method (SCRUM): requirements analysis, design, code generation, testing and maintenance
-Capable of meeting short-deadlines and working in a fast pace work environment
-Complete any assignments, projects or objectives by deadlines given by the Head of Corporate Development and Investment Management in a timely and professional manner
 
Requirements:
-BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
-Basic Knowledge:
-Mysql / Sql Server 2005- (2008 is a plus).
-Scripting language: Visual Basic Script, Action Script 3.
-Dot NET Framework
-Flex 4.5 Framework
-Programming in C# , MXML, Action Script 3
-Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Good verbal and written communications skills

 This candidate must also possess strong quality and team driven attitude; ability to lead small projects independently; excellent database design, entity and data relationship modeling skills.
