Logistics Assistant
As a key player within the ACF Jerusalem logistics department, the Logistics assistant will provide essential logistical support to the Capital Logistician in the areas of fleet, equipment and base management, as well as undertaking driving duties as and when required. The role will require the logistics assistant to undertake and manage small maintenance work, as well as develop relationships with suppliers and contractors so as to meet the needs of the mission and to ensure a safe and appropriate working environment for all staff.
The Candidate will:
-Coordinate all transportation of ACF staff and equipment, ensuring that all ACF fleet related procedures are understood and adhered too, that all vehicles are well maintained and repaired in a timely fashion, and that any incidents or accidents are appropriately reported and investigated.
-Assist the Capital Logistician in maintaining all equipment and ensuring appropriate equipment management procedures are adhered to.
-Assist the Capital Logistician in undertaking all Capital procurement activities.
-Ensure office and residential buildings are appropriately equipped by undertaking and managing maintenance work.
-Undertake any other general logistics duties as requested by the Capital Logistician.
Profile of the Candidate:
-1-2 years of relevant professional experience in procurement or logistics, experience with an NGO is a plus
-Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written), Hebrew is a plus
-Strong computer skills, Excel and Word
-A problem solver with a “can do” attitude
-Good interpersonal and communications skills
-Well organized and rigorous
-Valid Driving License
-Jerusalem ID Holder
