Job vacancy for Medical Laboratory Technician

The Center for Quality in Medical Laboratories (CQML) is affiliated with Al-Quds University and provides two programs: External Quality Assessment (EQA) program and continuing education program. For this purpose, we are interested in recruiting a laboratory technician to fulfill the vacancies specified below. 

Position Title: Laboratory Technician

The main tasks for the new laboratory technician include:

-Assist in preparation of EQA samples.
-Collection of pooled serum for use in preparation of EQA samples.
-Communication with participating labs.
-Organization of sample distribution and handling.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from an accredited university.
-Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Laboratory testing is recommended
-Good command of English and Arabic languages.
-Good skills in computer
-Further training in statistics and quality control is preferred
-Ability to work in a team

Vacancies available: 1
Assignment: starting from May 2017, and for one year. Renewal of the contract is possible.
Salary: according to the University cadre system and based primarily on the qualifications of the applicant.
