Lead API Engineer/Architect

In this role you will be engaged in the design and development of our API’s and their integration with our existing technologies.

Responsibilities - in this role you will:
-Bring a passion for developing API’s that will enable the ERP and Routing systems to be accessible by our customers and other partners.
-Performs design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of software applications.
-Have a desire to lead on the design and implementation of more than one component of the system.
-Recognizes industry trends and standards in your own area and communicate or incorporate knowledge into the product.
-Negotiates customer requirements.
-Enhance existing enterprise level core ERP and other services.
-Serve as a resource for others inside and outside of the department to disseminate your expertise and knowledge.
-Be an advocate and leader in efforts in continuous integration and testing.


Skills
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or like field.
-5+ years experience building high volume and highly available web service / application.
-5+ years experience working with enterprise database technologies – postgresql and/or MySQL.
-5+ years experience building and consuming REST APIs (Based on frameworks).
-Strong knowledge in two or more additional programming languages: Java, C, PHP, Python, Ruby.
-xcellent network and systems knowledge – load balancers, gateways, DNS, IP, HTTP, RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
