Job Title: Lead Software Engineer and Application Developer C# .NET/ASP.NET/Java Script; SQL/Oracle
 
Top tier insurance company in Palestine seeking highly motivated, intuitive and results oriented Lead Software Engineer to develop numerous programs and applications and to assist in the creation of an Enterprise Resource Planning software for insurance operations, management and accounting using C# .NET, SQL Database / Server, ASP and Java Script. The Lead Software Engineer will play a central role in the company’s restructuring team and will report directly to the Head of Corporate Development.   The position carries considerable responsibilities and achievement of desired results according to specified deadlines is critical for employment longevity.
 
Job Description:

-Design, develop and maintain business applications on PC and mobile phones that improve efficiency by automating routine tasks and centralizing data for improved reporting
-Develop applications based on the software development life cycle/agile method: requirements analysis, design, code generation, testing and maintenance
-Capable of meeting short-deadlines and working in a fast pace work environment
-Complete any assignments, projects or objectives by deadlines given by the Head of Corporate Development and Investment Management in a timely and professional manner
 
Qualifications:
-Qualified candidate must meet the following criteria
-5+ years application development experience
-BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
-Proficient with VB.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX, ASP, Java Script, VB Script, XML, Oracle RDBMS 11g, SQL Database / Server, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and SSIS packages
-Experience developing PC and mobile (android) applications
-Experience in successfully implementing web-forms, windows-forms, and web services using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET and Oracle/SQL
-Advanced SQL programming skill to perform complicated data processing tasks
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Good verbal and written communications skills
-Toad, Cognos, SSRS, SSIS, MS Excel, and MS Access experience a plus
-This candidate must also possess strong quality and team driven attitude; ability to lead small
projects independently; excellent database design, entity and data relationship modeling skills.
