Leads Generation Expert
Chemonics International seeks a Qualified Leads Generation Expert, to work in USAID-funded Building Regional Economic Bridges (BREB) activity. Through technical assistance and grants, the project will promote cross-border partnerships and trade opportunities for local companies, as well as access to finance and investment; support research and development collaboration; increase the competitiveness of firms by facilitating technological exchanges and managerial know-how; and improve career prospects for youth.
The activity has four objectives: Objective 1: Facilitate Cooperative Exchange and Knowledge Sharing, Objective 2: Foster New Markets, Objective 3: Strengthen Palestinian Enterprises, Objective 4: Promote Investment and Access to Finance.
The short-term Qualified Leads Generation Expert will cultivate and provide high-quality leads for Palestinian ICT companies in the Saudi ICT sector. The consultant will facilitate business relationships and alliances, particularly adapted to the Saudi Arabian market environment. This endeavor is a key component of the "Palestinian ICT Pioneers: Navigating the Saudi Market via LEAP" initiative, spearheaded by BREB’s grantee, the Palestinian Information Technology Association (PITA). The initiative's objective is to enable Palestinian ICT companies to penetrate the Saudi market. It focuses on bridging existing gaps, stimulating growth, securing strategic partnerships, attracting investment, and boosting international recognition for economic development and innovation in both regions. The LEAP Tech Event, integral to this initiative, is scheduled from March 4th to 7th, 2024, in Riyadh.
The consultant will work with PITA, in consultation with BREB to engage Palestinian ICT companies on: (1) lead generation and preparatory meetings, (2) support in LEAP participation and B2B matchmaking (3) support in the development of business deals and partnerships, (4) Develop and maintain a database of leads and prospects for future references. The consultant is expected to prepare and match 2-3 qualified leads per each Palestinian ICT company. (For around 10 ICT companies) and facilitate at least one B2B meeting per company during LEAP.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) working in KSA with multinational corporations.
- Demonstration of large network of Palestinian diaspora and GCC Palestinian support in the tech space.
- Cross-cultural experience living or working in multiple countries. Experience working or engaging with tech companies or entrepreneurs in the Middle East.
- Experience of working with USAID projects is desirable.
- Proven experience in lead generation within the ICT sector.
- A clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities in both the Palestinian and Saudi markets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Saudi Arabian ICT landscape, including business and market trends, regulations, key players, and emerging opportunities.
- Proven analytical, communications, negotiation, and writing/reporting skills.
- Excellent English oral and written skills, with fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
- Expertise in nurturing leads, fostering relationships, and facilitating business deals and partnerships.
Expected LOE
This STTA is for 60 days of LOE over a period of 6 months starting January 2, 2024, through June 30, 2024. The consultant is expected to work part-time. The location of assignment will be of hybrid nature, access to KSA is mandatory, and access to West Bank is desirable.
Specific responsibilities and deliverables will be shared with short-listed candidates.
