Rehabilitation Task Force Accountability & Liaison Officer

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The position, under the line management of Rehabilitation Project Manager and under the functional link of the Rehabilitation Specialist. In close coordination and collaboration with Gaza Trauma Working Group and Gaza Health and Nutrition Cluster lead (WHO). He/She ensures building links of data collection, mapping and harmonized system for referral pathway and reporting to RTF.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: Referrals among RTF members and among RTF members and Emergency Medical Teams
- In collaboration with the RTF coordinator, collect information about each RFT members activities (4Ws) on a monthly bases and update the 4Ws sheet
- Accept and managed incoming referrals from EMT and rehabilitation actors
- Properly arrange outcoming referrals with relevant rehabilitation referral
- Work in close collaboration with the EMT and Trauma referral focal point to share incoming and outcoming referral
- Keep track and report on incoming and outcoming referral and report it weekly at the RFC coordinator
Responsibility 2: Data collection and Data management
· Ensure that the appropriate data collection and management tools are in place, in line with global standards.
· Ensure that data related to the RTF is collected, compiled and constant weekly.
· Carry out regular checks and makes any necessary corrections to the activity database.
· Participate to the development of factsheets and datasheets
- In collaboration with the RTF coordinator, participate actively to surveys initiated by the Health Cluster: design, data collection tools as well as providing analysis and recommendations as relevant.
- Provide data to the RTF coordinator for the creation of weekly report
- Provide data related to the rehabilitation to Health Cluster to compile regular Health Bulletins

Job profile requirements:
- University degree in relevant health or rehabilitation professional is mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant health or rehabilitation practice
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience working on data collection and referrals in humanitarian environments
- Solid work experience in data management and referral in the health or rehabilitation sector
- Excellent understanding of health issues in emergency situations and detailed knowledge of humanitarian principles, guidelines and laws and the cluster system
- Strong internal and external coordination and representation skills (strong abilities to work with a variety of partners)
- Fluency in oral and written English with experience in report writing is compulsory
- Strong computer skills (use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other relevant software)
- Knowledge of the different schools of though and explanatory model of disability
