Logistician
EducAid is an International Non-Governmental Organization established in Italy in March 2000 and recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It supports Persons with Disabilities in various countries, including the Occupied Palestinian Territories, through interaction with associations, social enterprises and enthusiastic individuals ethically involved in educational and social work. Its mission is to prevent and reduce the disadvantages and obstacles of individuals with disabilities or those who live in social and cultural difficulties. Additionally, EducAid seeks to build the capacity of the individuals and institutions in terms of education through different means but most notably through building an educational system where all the resources present in the community coverage to avoid entrusting education. Furthermore, EducAid aims to ensure the ultimate respect of Human Rights, in particular, the rights of children, Persons with Disabilities, and minority groups and to encourage policies oriented toward gender equality.
EducAid has been working in the Palestinian Territory since 2003 and needs to hire a Logistician according to the following criteria:

Duration: one year, renewable
JOB PURPOSE:
Support the EducAid team in the implementation of the projects and directly support the West Bank and Jerusalem Offices in the procurement and logistics
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist team in the field in the planning of logistics activities and priorities
Work closely with the team to address queries and needs identified by the PM and EducAid staff
Ensure monitoring of purchasing and distribution processes
Participate in field operations (including need assessment, data collection, etc.)
Support the local administrator and field coordinators in collecting documents and information from partners, beneficiaries and other stakeholders involved in project implementation
Support the organization's staff in archiving relevant documents
Facilitate the overall communication on issues related to logistics
Provide other activities planning and reporting based on request.
Skills/Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics and similar in international NGOs
Experience in dealing with suppliers and following procurement procedures
Excellent organisational skills
Good communication skills
Good team spirit
Able to prioritize and anticipate, be reactive and flexible
Strong commitment to learning new skills and willingness to be accompanied toward the achievement of new competencies.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
Availability to field visits within the WB and Jerusalem.
Good writing skills and Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
A valid clean driving license is mandatory.
