Job Title: Logistics and Warehouse Manger
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the logistics operations and warehouse activities at Bridge Development Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing our logistics and warehouse processes, optimizing inventory, handling customs clearance, managing procurement, and overseeing import/export operations in compliance with regulations and customs requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade, procurement guidelines, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customs authorities.
Job Responsibilities include:
Logistics Management:
  • Coordinate and monitor the transportation, distribution, and storage of goods.
  • Oversee the scheduling, routing, and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage customs clearance processes, including documentation and coordination with customs authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and procedures.
  • Source and procure goods and services in line with company requirements, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery times.
  • Develop and implement strategies that take into account international sourcing and customs requirements and that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, considering their ability to comply with international trade regulations.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues related to customs compliance, product quality, or delivery delays.
Warehouse Operations:
  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure the efficient use of warehouse space and resources.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
  • Oversee the inventory management system to track, document, and analyze warehouse activity. 
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Identify and address discrepancies in inventory.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory costs and improve accuracy.
Customs Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and procedures for imported and exported goods.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.
  • Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth and compliant import/export operations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to customs and international trade, including the management of duties, taxes, and tariffs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement and customs activities, ensuring full compliance with audit and reporting requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, trade laws, and tariffs, and ensure the company’s procurement activities are compliant.

متطلبات الوظيفة
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management, with a strong focus on customs and international trade.
  • The position will be based in Jericho, but applicants should be willing to travel regularly to the office in Ramallah.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse operations and logistics processes, including customs clearance.
  • Previous experience working on USAID-funded projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
