Logistics Supervisor

-Create and send Purchase Orders to Overseas and Local Suppliers. Double check suppliers’ Proformas for order mistakes and/or changes in prices. Confirm Proformas with suppliers. Follow up with Accounting to make payments according to agreement with each Supplier. Negotiate with forwarders for best rate and best delivery time. Confirm sea freight, air freight or land freight forwarding order and booking. Follow up with forwarders according to delivery schedule. Send shipping documents to Customs clearance agent/s. Send all required catalogues and documents requested for the clearance of the shipments from customs, including the issuance of any documents from Palestinian Authority required for the release. Arrange with local delivery trucks to pickup shipments. Arrange with company warehouse staff to receive and unload shipments in warehouse. Compare received order with actual order. Notify Supplier and/or forwarder of any damaged or missing items. Follow up to credit or resend missing or damaged items. Calculate and Enter final cost of goods sold. Calculate and enter selling prices according to formulas and instructions from management.

- Create Delivery notes for company customers and enter selling price according to contract. Enter Serial numbers of equipment delivered and assign warranty conditions according to contract. Notify Accounting to issue Customers’ Invoices and follow up payments accordingly.

- Analyze continuously the inventory in warehouse and report to Management to replenish stock.

- Keep records and lists of items that are imported with special conditions. Record HS codes for new items entered in the system.

-Any business degree
- Skills is using Accounting software
- Excellent English Reading/Writing/Speaking skills
- Hebrew is a plus
- Must have very high attention to details
- Multi tasking
- Work under pressure
- Work longer hours when needed to complete daily tasks since this is a time critical job.
- Excellent communication skills with Colleagues, Suppliers and Service providers is important for the efficiency and effectiveness of this job.
