M&E and Reporting Manager
Chemonics International Inc., a leader in global development, seeks full time Monitoring and Evaluation and Reporting Manager for its USAID-funded Enhanced Palestinian Justice Program (EPJP) in Al-Bireh.
Position Objectives, Basic Functions/Critical Tasks:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) & Reporting Manager is the primary person responsible for coordination of monitoring and evaluation activities, design of project technical indicators, and for monitoring and reporting of the project monitoring plan (PMP). The M&E specialist will also coordinate and be a primary contributor to project communications, ensuring that all project reports include sufficient impact data and analysis.
Specific tasks will include:
- Design, develop, and update M&E data collection tools and training materials.
- Provide M&E training and technical assistance to project staff as required.
- Ensure that the PMP reflects project objectives and is up to date.
- Design and supervise the procurement or implementation of surveys to gather information for project indicators and counterpart information.
- Provide thorough and accurate data analysis to project management.
- Work with technical staff to collect relevant data from counterpart institutions.
- In coordination with technical staff, provide substantive technical support to counterpart organizations to help them to develop monitoring and evaluation skills.
- Provide the primary M&E input for regular project reports.
- Enter M&E data into USAID’s GEOMIS system, and training data into the TraiNet system effectively and on schedule.
- Coordinate the timely production of weekly and quarterly reports.
- Ensure timely production of other reports, including annual and ad hoc reports. The Manager ensures that all reports are complete, of high quality, and provided to the COP in time for review.
- Use M&E data to provide technical analysis and input into weekly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed
- Perform other tasks as required by the Chief of Party or Deputy Chief of Party.
Education, Qualifications and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong Arabic and English language skills are a must.
- Advanced reports writing skills.
- Previous work on USAID or other donor-funded projects highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques, including long-term impact assessment, training evaluation, and survey techniques.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative methods of highlighting impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members to collect and analyze data.
