World Vision is a Christian international relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.

World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking:

The successful candidate will:
Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective monitoring and evaluation system
for projects and programs
Organize and coordinate the process of conducting baseline surveys/evaluations
Conduct project evaluations and monitoring visits
Work with Programs staff in preparing monitoring and evaluation plans
Collect and analyize monitoring data/information about projects
Serve as a technical resource in monitoring and evaluation issues

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Bachelor degree (Master degree preferred) in social sciences, development studies or relevant field
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian relief and development projects with an international NGO
-Excellent language skills in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
-Thorough knowledge of MS Office
-Knowledge of basic statistics and data collection methods is a definite asset
-Commitment to achieving quality results and service
-Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
-Ability to think clearly, deeply and broadly
-Commitment to learning for growth and development
-Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work cross culturally
-Demonstrated effectiveness in influencing individuals and groups
-Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle to travel throughout Gaza
-Familiarity with AusAID-funded programming preferred
-Integrity and strong identification with World Vision’s Core Values
-Position is based in Gaza
