Maintenance Manager
Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Maintenance Manager for a leading company working in the Food Production Industry, located in Ramallah, Palestine.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible to manage all technical activities, optimize personnel performance, and follow up on all types of maintenance of all manufacturing lines in a timely manner and as scheduled, prepare periodic reports, and achieve key indicators in line with good manufacturing practices and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning
- Develop clear maintenance manuals for each manufacturing line, this includes all predictive/preventive/predetermined instructions in line with manufacturers manuals or/and as deemed necessary based on historical data.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance programmes.
- Prioritize team activities and monitor effective execution of tasks and activities.
Execution and Supervision
- Supervise the execution of corrective and reactive maintenance procedures.
- Ensure proper completion of all types of calibration activities of manufacturing lines.
- Daily supervision of the team, their execution schedules, and completions of planned tasks and activities.
Inspection
- Perform constant inspections of completed maintenance activities and perform any necessary corrective technical actions if required.
- Authorize “use of manufacturing lines” upon completion of all type of maintenances or following breakdowns or failures.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain detailed records and historical maintenance logs.
- Minimize unplanned operating downtime and process non-conformances.
- Tracks critical parameters, takes actions to improve, correct and reinforce where needed. This includes quality, safety and production rates.
- Identify, analyze, and develop short-term and long-term upgrades to manufacturing lines.
Procurement Liaison
- Responsible for the budget management for all repairs and spare part inventories and for adhering to all plant/divisional/corporate purchasing functions and policies.

Excellent organizational skills, assess priorities, and manage a variety of activities, paying attention to detail under tight deadlines and heavy workloads.

Strong analytical skills.
Years of experience:
Minimum 10 years of total experience including a minimum of 4 years as a Maintenance Manager in the food industry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any related field.
Location:
Ramallah, Palestine.
Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic and English.
