Marketing Coordinator
The EJ-YMCA is a local Christian non-profit association whose mission is to strengthen and build individuals and communities by establishing programs to develop a true human being in terms of spirit, mind, and body. Its work is based on Christian principles and the values of respect, honesty, dignity, justice, responsibility, and attention. The YMCA integrates everyone regardless of their age, income, abilities, race, religion, or gender. The YMCA is working hard to identify and assess the needs of Palestinian society as it seeks to develop programs that respond to the aspirations of young people and their families.
The East-Jerusalem YMCA is seeking to hire a “Marketing Coordinator” in Beit Sahour / Ramallah (Based in Beit Sahour).
Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in promoting the East Jerusalem YMCA Community Centers and their operations. This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility of the YMCA's diverse offerings, including gyms, pools, and community programs. The role focuses on increasing membership, driving sales, and fostering community engagement by effectively showcasing the organization’s values, services, and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the Community Centers facilities, services, and programs.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and tailor marketing strategies to meet community needs.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting tactics to optimize results.
- Content Creation and Brand Management:
- Create high-quality, engaging content for digital and print platforms, including social media posts, newsletters, flyers, and promotional videos.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the YMCA’s mission, values, and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to produce visual content that highlights the YMCA's offerings.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media:
- Manage and grow the YMCA's social media presence, creating compelling campaigns to engage the local community.
- Optimize the organization's website and digital platforms to enhance user experience and drive traffic.
- Implement email marketing campaigns to keep members and the community informed about events, promotions, and updates.
- Community Engagement and Outreach:
- Organize and promote community events and activities to increase engagement and membership.
- Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to create partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between the YMCA and the community, gathering feedback to improve services and programs.
- Membership and Sales Support:
- Develop targeted campaigns to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the centers management to create promotional offers and incentives.
- Analyze membership trends and develop strategies to boost enrollment and participation.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track the performance of marketing initiatives and provide regular reports to management.
- Use analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or any related field.
- At least three years of experience in Proven experience in marketing, preferably in community organizations or fitness/recreational facilities.
- Strong skills in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Arabic.
- Creativity and a keen eye for design and visual storytelling.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
