Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
We're hiring a MEAL Officer to support the development of MAP's MEAL activities within the Gaza programme, facilitating the enhancement of our monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems. This full-time role involves collaborating with programme teams in Gaza and the UK to develop and implement PMEAL systems, including testing new tools and ensuring compliance with MAP and donors' standards.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in M&E approaches, data collection, and entry, as well as meeting institutional donor requirements. Excellent facilitation and communication skills in English and Arabic are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. A degree in a relevant field and a commitment to anti-discriminatory practice are required, with experience in humanitarian/development INGOs and health-related programmes highly desirable.
