Position Title: Mechanical Expert
Location: West Bank

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Inspect and analyse existing HVAC systems, determine the condition of existing systems, and verify operating parameters for accuracy.
-Perform tests and troubleshoot existing systems. Recommend changes to the system in order to ensure good performance.
-Review HVAC related Design packages and provide comments on HVAC plans and detailed drawings prepared by the design consultant to identify necessary design changes complying with the respect standards.
-Review material take offs and cost estimates for the work as applicable.
-Participate in HVAC commissioning activities, conduct walkthrough and prepare exception item list.
-Review the technical department procedures and reports.
-Knowledge of HVAC instrumentation and controls is required.
-Coordinate maintenance programs with user units to determine relative priorities and on-time completion of work in critical operating facilities with available work force.
-Assign maintenance manpower within his assigned area to meet daily changes in operating requirements and priorities.
-Recommend special work schedules, overtime or contractor participation to meet unusual or emergency situations.
-Assure that all details of material and equipment are available at jobsite.
-Execute the actual work during a T&I period, coordinate activities of assigned craftsmen and such other personnel as are assigned (night shift coordination, etc.) to assist in the execution of the work.
-Review Project Proposals to assure that maintenance aspects are considered in final design.
-Coordinate maintenance work between Maintenance Contactors when services from various contractors are required.
-Perform special assignments as directed, utilizing his engineering knowledge and experience.
-Evaluate maintenance activity. Provide professional level expertise to the solution of complex problems.
-Perform fault diagnosis and difficult troubleshooting of HVAC system comments.
-Excellent management and organizational skills to ensure that maintenance supports for mechanical and electrical power availability and integrity in Wataniya major & critical sites.
-Maintain & updating maintenance records, checklists, database and purchase orders.
-Reporting daily, monthly, quarterly, annual maintenance activities.
-Coordinating maintenance activities & liaising with other departments regarding spare parts, engine lubricants, mechanical and electrical items purchase, acceptance and delivery.
-Ability to support operations through continuous maintenance improvement programs, analysis of equipment reliability and availability.
-Practicing and implementation problem-solving skills in addition to the equipment troubleshooting skills and trouble root cause analysis techniques.
-Setting adjustment points and calibration for power equipment related to Diesel generator performance optimization.

Qualifications & Experience:

-Experience in Data centre cooling systems such as (APC, Schneider, Carrier)
-Minimum 8 years of experience in related role Personal Trails
-Extensive mechanical knowledge
-2D Sketching skills using Acad.
-Experience in reading & understanding electrical & mechanical drawing packages.
-Experience in reading & understanding electrical & mechanical manuals packages including installation, user and O&M manuals.
-Experience in spare parts sorting, ordering and logging.
-Possess extensive knowledge of repair and preventative maintenance of the power generation/distribution equipment, perception and awareness of maintenance goals and policies.
