Media Coordinator
Job Title: Media Coordinator
Reports to: General Secretary (GS)
Location: Based in Beit Sahour, while remaining available for meetings in other districts Contract: Full-time
The Media Coordinator is responsible for administering all media channels used by the EJ-YMCA and its different programs and centers, and making sure they are in line with the organizational Branding Manual and Communications Policy. The coordinator shall work in close conjunction with the different Programs, Centers and Departments at the EJ-YMCA, to develop media campaigns and take the lead in implementing them.
Main Responsibilities:
Work closely with Programs, Centers and Departments to effectively coordinate the production of content, schedule posts, and monitor activity.
- Design printing materials for Programs, Centers and Departments for their different needs, activities and campaigns.
- Document different Events and Activities through professional photos and videos.
- Set up and optimize Programs’, Centers’ pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the EJ-YMCA’s social content.
- Generate, edit, publish and share high-impact social media content (graphics, videos and other multimedia formats), that effectively informs and engages external audiences and supports media and advocacy campaigns.
- Collaborate efficiently with the different Programs / Centers to handle the day-to-day operations of all social media channels that might be adopted, (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube), and adapt content to suit different channels.
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Trello, Hootsuite…
- All media content must strictly abide by the Branding Manual and the Communications Policy of the EJ-YMCA.
- Train colleagues to use social media effectively, especially focal staff assigned by Programs / Centers to respond to comments and queries of audience.
- Each Program/Center/Project is responsible to monitor and moderate external audience comments and queries on its relevant page.
- Collect and analyze social media metrics to measure reach, engagement and other performance measures for social media posts, accounts and campaigns, helping to inform results-based decision making, drive the effective use of resources, and increase engagement.
- Regularly update the GS on the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing social media channels used by the EJ-YMCA, and discuss plans for further improvement.
Other Duties: Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as requested by the GS.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or any other relevant field.
- Two years of experience in graphic design, social media marketing, or any other relevant field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Premiere Pro, is a must. Knowledge of any other professional software in graphic design and video editing is a plus.
- Knowledge in using Meta Business Suit, and using Meta Ads Manager.
- Knowledge in using a professional Camera for shooting Photos and Videos.
- Knowledge in using WordPress.
- Basic Knowledge in using Artificial Intelligence Applications.
- Fluency in written formal Arabic and English.
- Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills and multitasking.
- The ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Dedicated team player.
- The ability to travel to other districts within the West Bank including East Jerusalem, as deemed necessary.
