Introduction :
Palestine Technical College/Arroub has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF)-Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Funded by the World Bank and EC,to implement the project of Media Technology Program and intends to apply part of this grant for selection and employment of highly qualified Consultants who have experience in Media Technical and Arts skills.

Assignment Objective :
Palestine Technical Colleges/Arroub is considering the selection of highly qualified Consultants (2 persons) to be part of the small core staff responsible for training technical staff in terms the technical and Art on the subjects detailed in Duties and Responsibilties of the Media Technology Department as part of the implementation of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities
1-Training on digital montage for TV and Multimedia programs such as
         a.AVID Liquid 7.2
         b.Adobe prewar CS.4
         c.Adobe After effect.
2-Training on film importing and editing
3-Shots arrangements according to program type.
4-Adding sound effects
5-Adding text to program (titles)
6-Montage and Mixage for Sounds effects.
7-Film exporting on various high quality media formats
8-Using and Connecting different montage software programs.

Deliverables
1-Training course layout and outline at the beginning of the training
2-Completion of 70 training hours in the field of the assignment
3-Final report including training materials soft and hard copy,obstacles met,lessons learned,trainees evaluation,attendance sheet,and conclusion and recommendation.
Essential Required Qualifications,Skills,knowledge and Competencies:
1-Candidates for this position should hold a certificate in one of the following areas

-Media Tehnology /Art
-Media Arts
-Audio /Video Shooting and Editing
-Sound Mixing
-TV/Radio broadcasting
-TV/ Radio Mixage and Montage
-Computer Multimedia.

2-Bachelor degree in media specialization or any other related field with at least 5 years experience
3-Knowledge of English language is a plus
4-Working in the training field is a plus.

Place of work:
Hosted in Palestine Technical Colleges/Arroub and will be supervised by the Project Co-coordinator.
Time Frame :
The duration of the assignment is 1 month from June 5 2009 -June 25 2009
