Medical Emergency Manager

Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Medical Emergency Manager

Purpose:   To ensure the implementation of MDM medical emergency programs in line with MDM medical Emergency intervention strategy and contingency plan with quality standards

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• In charge of the daily project implementation and follow up.
• Supervise the project related staff to ensure the proper implementation of the projects.
• Responsible for the operational management of the post- operative projects in Gaza
• Constant watch and analysis on Gaza emergency health situation .

REQUIREMENTS

• Medical, Para-medical staff, or any related field with strong experience in development & implementation of emergency  medical programs.
• At least 2 years of work experience in project management in the field for NGOs.
• Good supervision & reporting skills.
• Program planning, budgeting and monitoring skills (Program Development: Comprehensive experience in program/project management. Proven capacity to generate ideas, assess political and social environment, develop and implement relevant strategies and projects.)
• Good communication skills.
• Good command of English ,  Arabic language is an asset
• Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, statistics software…).
• Good experience and knowledge about the medical emergency procedures and protocols used at National level
• Context and cultural knowledge
