Islamic Relief Palestine in partnership with CAFOD intends to establish a center for psychosocial guidance in Northern Gaza Strip. The centre aims to create healthy atmosphere for children, through psychological support, educational support and other recreational activities. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for the psychosocial guidance center in Northern Gaza Strip 3- Title: Mental Health Worker
Ref: 2009/21/MHW
Duration: One year (Full Time)
Main Duties: Participate in awareness and training. Provide individual and
group counseling and other activities of the team work. Keeping accurate
client records, files and documentation for the release of information to other
treatment professionals. Develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on
clients’ interests, and abilities. Cooperation with related organizations.
Candidates must posses the following competencies:
• Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health.
• Three years experience in mental health.
• Knowledge and skills in assessment or mental health evaluations on clients as required
