Merchandising Specialist
Al-Nasher Advertising and PR Company is looking for a full time Merchandising Specialist to start working in its main headquarter in Ramallah
Job Overall objective: promoting the sale of a product using market research data, customer feedback and creativity. How a retailer presents its products can have a positive or negative influence on a customer’s buying decisions. So, it’s important that stores display merchandise in such a way that is visually pleasing and cohesive.
Main Tasks
-Lead and mentor team on adherence to the Department Execution Model related to inventory / merchandising process, procedure, and strategy.
-Consistently demonstrate responsibility for the general stores look
-Evaluation of staff, hiring and firing
-Prepare and conduct team meetings, trainings and other special events to communicate clear goals to team.
-Follow up on data collection and work on the analysis of the data
-Daily journey plan for team members
-Field back check
-Create an incentive program
-Implementing SPSS
What are the Professional Requirements of an Inventory / Merchandising Supervisor?
Basic Qualifications
-University degree or equivalent
-2 years leadership experience inclusive of coaching and recognition
-2 years sales or customer service experience
-2 years warehouse/inventory experience
Preferred Qualifications
-University degree or higher in business or related field
-2 years retail experience
-2 years consumer electronics experience
-Previous leadership / supervisory experience (including providing daily work direction, scheduling of tasks, and performance management)
-Previous experience in data analysis
