Microfinance Expert

PlaNet Finance is an international non-profit organization, headquartered in Paris, contributing to poverty reduction by promoting Microfinance in over 60 countries worldwide. It is seeking an experienced Microfinance professional to join its Palestine office in Ramallah.
Job Description

The candidate, under the supervision of the Executive Director, is expected to perform the following tasks:
- Strategic and business planning for microfinance institutions (MFIs)
- Develop training material and deliver training workshops
-Product development for MFIs
-Analysis of financial statements and economic data  Risk management, and the production of credit policies and internal procedures
Identification of needs in the microfinance sector in Palestine and proposal writing
Skills and Qualifications:

-  A minimum of 4 years experience in Microfinance or 6 years in the banking sector 
-Advanced academic degree in Economics, Finance, Development Studies or related field
-Fluency in English and Arabic – ability to work in both languages
 Excellent communication and computer skills
