Islamic Relief is a humanitarian NGO (www.irpal.ps), operating in Palestine in the fields of emergency relief and long-term development. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancy in its office in Gaza.
1- Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator.

Location: Gaza Office
Duration: one year (full time)

Main duties and Responsibilities:
• The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for the overall monitoring,
review and evaluation of IR projects in Gaza.
• Setting up procedures for data collection and analysis as well as creating mechanisms
and formats for both internal and external reporting.
• Development of indicators and tools that enable IRPAL to measure the overall impact of its work.
• Working with IRPAL programmes staff, to design and institute a specific monitoring
and evaluation plan for all existing and new Projects, based on IR M&E system.
• To be responsible for training IR APL staff and partners in M&E practices, in general,
and IR’s procedures, in particular.
• To ensure grant-funded projects can comply with donor monitoring and evaluation requirements for performance measurement and reporting.
Candidates must posses the following competencies:
1. Bachelor degree from an accredited University.
2. Minimum five years of increasingly responsible experience in projects management,
monitoring and evaluation preferably in international NGOs.
3. Excellent Knowledge of Project management theory, principles and practices and their
application to a wide variety of projects transactions and problems.
4. Knowledge of Principles and standard practices of projects cycle management.
5. Excellent written and spoken English (essential) as well as Arabic language
6. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
