Position Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator (M&E Coordinator)
Project: Palestinian Community Assistance Program (PCAP).
Band: 6
Location: Gaza
Reports to: PCAP Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant Project Officer
JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the program quality team working in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), the M&E Coordinator’s primary function is to assist M&E APO in Palestinian Community Assistance Program (PCAP) capacity in monitoring and evaluation, and to maintain files for the PCAP program components (Cash-for-Work, Cash-for-Internship, and Humanitarian Assistance programs).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
-Work to maintain, organize, and review PCAP program files to check for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
-Assist with conducting monitoring field visits to validate the selection process and accuracy of submitted data.
-Verify reported indicator and target numbers provided by the teams, to ensure accuracy.
-Assist the M&E APO with implementing the proper monitoring and sampling methods.
-Work closely with local partners to ensure monitoring documents and data are reported in a timely way. Work with partners to ensure they understand how to use monitoring tools correctly.
-Assist with data cleaning and data entry.
Qualifications
Technical/Professional:
-At least two years in a comparable position, including field work and coordinating with local organizations
-Strong language skills both written and oral in English and Arabic.
-Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize work
-Strong computer skills in MS Office
Education:
-University degree in management, development, social policy or related field. Significant comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of field of study

-Maintains professional demeanor in all situations, courteous, diplomatic, and punctual
-Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-Practices solid organizational and planning skills, and attention to details
-Exercises good judgment;

-Committed to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching
Working Conditions:
-70% office work (depends on work load, and M&E priorities)
-30% field work (depends on work load, and M&E priorities)
